I didn’t know anything with my first pregnancy 

I thought I had to do everything the doctors and nurses told me – I didn’t know I had a choice.  

I had terrible morning sickness, low energy most of the time, swelling so bad I went up two shoe sizes and back-acne! I even went from my ideal ‘wedding weight’ to gaining over 70lbs in less than 9 months.  

My second pregnancy was the complete opposite, even though at 12 weeks we found out we were expecting SURPRISE identical twin boys (EXCITING!!!) and were officially very high risk (SCARY).

But I had made a shift with my diet, my lifestyle and my thinking, and my twin pregnancy was wayyyyyyy better...

I had; Less nausea More energy No swelling No acne Controlled weight-gain And more confidence in myself than I ever thought possible!  

In the end, I naturally delivered two super healthy twin boys full-term, which even impressed my OB-GYN.  

He totally expected that I would need a c-section delivery and thought my babies would likely have some health issues, because that was the ‘norm’ for situations like mine.  

He also didn’t like all the questions and suggestions I had for him at every prenatal appointment because I wanted to do things in a more natural way. I could see it in his eye-rolling and comments like “Your babies could die!” if I didn’t just do what he said.

In the end he admitted he was wrong.  

“You sure showed me!” were his exact words in the labour recovery room.

What if I’m already half way through my pregnancy, is it too late? 

Nope!
